The main building has 2 sets of 16 solar panels, which feed the sun energy to a battery bank of 16 units.
2 charge controller and 1 inverter provide all the energy. In other words they keep up to 10 guests‘ including the hosts‘ rooms warm and cozy.

Propane Gas<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless appliances like a range, instant hot water heater or dryer run on propane gas because the have a high demand of energy.
If ever we might have a shortage of sun energy, our system will automatically switch to propane gas.
Because of our backup system we are safe.
Therefore, the whole building only use LED lamps.<\/span>

In conclusion, it is a long way to sustainable living, but we are on track.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
